Myoptics Optical provides eyewear with custom designer frames catering to young urban professionals in select cities from Manhattan to Washington D.C.. The concept development for each location fostered unique and individual designs for each space, styled to address the existing context of its surrounding community.
Interior architectural design included the transaction counters, furniture selection, lighting, finishes, featured product displays, as well as technical labs and exam rooms. The stores have been regularly featured in product magazines for the innovative presentation of the designer frames.
Various store motifs were explored by the articulation of display and modeling mirrors with reflections and geometries used to interrupt the repetition in product display. The physical limitations of the smaller boutique spaces were enhanced by optical illusions as a design technique in the perception of space.
