The Children's Evaluation and Rehabilitation Clinic (CERC) project is the consolidation/relocation and expansion of existing programs presently functioning in other buildings on the Albert Einstein College of Medicine campus. Those functions with the Van Etten Building.
These program requires 35,000 square feet of diagnostic and general healthcare for children from infancy, teens, as well as young families. These clinical departments consist of dentistry, auditory processing functions psychological and psychiatric care, as well as young family facilities.
The consolidation of the new CERC programs are to be located in the revitalization of the Van Etten Building which was once a tuberculosis hospital, and has been repurposed and renovated for these uses.
